Cushman & Wakefield
The international consulting company Cushman & Wakefield has consolidated its offices in the newly built The Warsaw Hub facility located at Rondo Daszyńskiego, creating a functional and creative workspace.
The aim of the change was to enable connected teams to work more effectively in a healthy and stimulating environment. Efforts were also made for developed solutions to be innovative and enable effective communication. Before the project was completed, the internal department of Workplace Strategy Cushman & Wakefield conducted a series of workshops with employees, which allowed them to define the expectations and work styles of employees. Conclusions from these meetings were the base for creating the assumptions for the project.
Finally, the office space covering nearly 2,500 square meters on two floors of the building was developed with interactive common spaces, offices for concentrated work and groups (there are over 30 meeting rooms!). Workplaces were equipped with high and low desks and soundproof telephone booths. Moreover, the employees can use a mini-gym, ie "Power Room", a room for a parent with a child, "Relax Room" equipped with a massage chair and "Yoga Room", where employees can practice yoga every day. Employees can also use vending machines with healthy food and a cafeteria. The entire project is complemented by a large number of plants that have been placed both in common areas and on partitions.
Meeting rooms have names directly related to nature, that is: Volcano, Spring, Summer, Forest, Hurricane. Each of them has also been finished with elements referring to the name. Part of the rooms dedicated to clients has been arranged based on important buildings on the map of Warsaw.
The project was implemented during the pandemic, which led to several difficulties in the implementation, but also made the office built in accordance with the 6 FEET OFFICE concept (by Cushman & Wakefield), which includes, among others, marking the office space to ensure the full safety of employees.
The interiors of the new Cushman & Wakefield office have also been equipped with our furniture systems! There are desks, tables and sofas from the Balma PLUS system, as well as elements of the Simplic and J_system systems.
The new headquarters of Cushman & Wakefield was constructed in accordance with the requirements of the WELL certificate (a system for designing and assessing buildings and interiors developed by the International WELL Building Institute), which means that space has been designed with the health, comfort and well-being of office users in mind. As for the building itself, it received an award in the Investment of the Year - Office Space Market category in the Prime Property Prize 2020 competition.
